Volunteering from the heart: «Animal rescue. Borodyanka»

The destructive war continues, natural habitats and resources are being destroyed, as well as conditions for living animals both in the wild and in specialized places. A large number of wild animals in zoos and reserves, as well as domestic and farm animals in shelters and abandoned homes, are suffering greatly from the fighting.

After the de-occupation of northern Kyiv region, it became clear that various organizations needed very different types of assistance: from food and medicine to technical and financial support. DL SOLUTION, as part of its internal social corporate program, supported the initiative of Olena Nikolaenko, an employee of the IT department, to provide humanitarian assistance to a veterinary institution and animal shelter in the Borodyanka, Kyiv region. According to a volunteer request and the joint efforts of the company and its employees, the collection of necessary items was organized and conducted, medicines and food were purchased for animals undergoing treatment at the veterinary clinic in the de-occupied town.

«Despite the fact that everyone's life is currently filled with a heap of big and small problems, which have only increased during these difficult wartime, so many colleagues have found the opportunity to respond and help. And there are many to care for. The war that swept through Kyiv region and continues to rage has brought disaster not only to people. Countless wounded wild and domestic animals have been left without assistance. Many beloved pets have been left without their homes and even loving families,» says Olena.

Since the de-occupation of Kyiv region, the sterilization center in Borodyanka has been providing free surgeries and vaccinations daily, treating seriously ill animals, and making every effort to help these furry creatures from all over Ukraine find their new loving families.
